How much must we carry?
One child, a family, the whole city?
How heavy must the weight be?
Bleeding, containing the growth of the world
World born from us, to test and drain us
Why must the world leave us alone
to carry the burden, bearer of life
Machines crushing souls
lives cut in half
Blood finds no Cloth in times of war
Why must our wombs be the target of that?
While ruthless ego sits on a throne
Our womb reduced to the darkness not shown
And they claim Peace was their goal.
Men do not care how heavy we flow
We carry the souls, the loss and the hope
